Special Child Health Services Division 

Special Child Health Services assists in the procurement of coordinated and comprehensive services for children, birth through age 21, who have a chronic health condition, disability or developmental delay. Assistance includes, but is not limited to:

  • Informal Counseling & referral
  • Assessment of family & child needs
  • Assistance with health & educational services
  • Crisis resources
  • Case management & monitoring

Assists in acquiring the following:

  • Early Intervention Services
  • Sliding-scale fees for hearing aides, prostheses and pulmonary pharmaceuticals for clients whose insurance does not cover such items.
  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
