Freeholders Promote Tourism and Cultural Opportunities through the Arts in Cumberland County

Bridgeton, NJ – Cumberland County Freeholders Joe Derella and Jim Quinn are excited about the two murals recently completed by Local Artist Maryann Cannon in the Cumberland County Administration Building.

Director Derella said “Maryann is an outstanding artist and locally founded LaBottega of Art and Copper Plate Studio in the Glasstown Arts District of Millville. She is an Associate Member of the River Renaissance Center of the Arts in Millville and a member of Gallery 50 in Bridgeton. The Freeholders were so pleased that Maryann agreed to do the project. Community Pride is important to all of us on the Freeholder Board. This is an outstanding beautification project for one of our public buildings.”

Freeholder Jim Quinn said, Tourism is so important to our community and there are a number of great opportunities for our residents and visitors to experience and explore. Maryann has done a fantastic job of capturing several our premier destinations in Cumberland County as well as depicting our maritime heritage.”
