Vineland Resident Receives PSEG Green Scholarship

In a special presentation Tuesday afternoon, Dylan Frey, a 2011 graduate of the Cumberland County Technical Education Center received the PSEG Green Scholarship, an award designated for outstanding vocational school graduates in New Jersey who plan to study environmental science or related green technology at a county or state college.

Freeholder Director William F. Whelan and Deputy Director James A. Dunkins presented Frey with a $550 grant as the Cumberland County recipient of the award.

The program is funded by PSEG and awarded by the NJAC Foundation, an educational non-profit run by the New Jersey Association of Counties.

Frey graduated from CCTEC’s Plumbing/HVAC Technology program and plans to pursue his studies in Green Technology in the field of Plumbing/HVAC.
