5/21/2011 - Cumberland County's Most Wanted

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Department seeks the public's help in finding two of its "Most Wanted" fugitives.

Shaun N. Steward, 41, is sought on four Cumberland County Family Court warrants for failing to pay $10,309 in child support. He is described as black, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 220 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has a birthmark on the right side of his abdomen. His last known address was North Second Street in Vineland.
**UPDATE** Shaun N. Steward was arrested and transported to Cumberland County Jail this week after authorities received a tip that he was walking on Fayette Street in Bridgeton.

Sergio Angel (aka Sergio Angel Ascencio), 23, is sought on Cumberland County Superior Court criminal warrants for failure to appear for a pre-arraignment interview failure to appear for a status conference. He is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has a tattoo of a marijuana leaf and the words "High Time" on his left arm and a tattoo that says "SUR 13 STG" on his left hand. His last known address was North Pearl Street in Bridgeton.

Both of these individuals should be considered dangerous. Sheriff Robert A. Austino asks anyone who comes in contact with Shaun N. Steward or Sergio Angel (aka Sergio Angel Ascencio) to call the police immediately. You should contact state or local police, or the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department TIP-LINE at (856) 451-0625. Citizens are reminded not to approach, confront, or detain these fugitives.
