4/2/2011 - "Ye Greate Street, Live" Fundraiser

On Saturday April 2, 2011 the Historic Greenwich Education Foundation will sponsor another popular evening at the Morris Goodwin School entitled “Ye Greate Street, Live”. It will offer family appeal in presenting a “Live” Auction, a silent auction and a Chinese auction. The musical entertainment will feature South Jersey musicians and offer comedic diversion in revisiting “Elliot Mess and the Untouchables!”. Entrance donation is $10.00 per family. Auction items feature local artisans and their handcrafts, original artwork, prints and photographs, nautical adventures, scenic and weekend excursions, Bay-Atlantic Symphony concerts, lunch with Congressman LoBiondo in Washington, a gourmet dinner with paired flights of wine, antiques, vintage collectibles and novelties, assorted paraphernalia from a Greenwich canhouse, old bottles recovered from the shores of Cabin Creek, books by author Robin Hathaway featuring Greenwich, and the list goes on.

Many auction items may be viewed in advance until April 2, 2011 in the window of BYC – Books, Yarn, Coffee at 21 E. Commerce Street, Bridgeton, and in the window of the Greenwich Post Office/Country Store in Greenwich. Auction item donations are always appreciated.

5:30 - 6:30 pm Preview Auction Items (Silent & Live & Chinese)
6:30 - 7:30 pm "Live" Auction
7:30 - 7:45 pm Auction Purchases; and again following performance 
7:45 pm "Ye Greate Street, Live" Performance
"Elliot Mess And The Untouchables"

Benefit: All proceeds benefit the Historic Greenwich Education Foundation, Inc.

The Historic Greenwich Education Foundation was established in 1997, as an independent non-profit corporation formed for the purpose of providing increased community support for the Greenwich Township School. The fundraising efforts of the Foundation support long-term endeavors.

Donations, which are tax deductible, are greatly appreciated throughout the year. Businesses are welcome to donate to the Foundation through direct contributions or matching gifts.
