Digital Directory Connects County Artists With The World

From painters to poets, musicians to mural artists, dancers to digital designers, Cumberland County’s creative community has a brand new global link to showcase its artistic talents.

The Cumberland County Artists Directory is an online, interactive exhibit space that gives county artists the opportunity to post examples of their work as well as their bios and contact information.

The directory is a project of the Cumberland County Cultural and Heritage Commission with the support of the Board of Chosen Freeholders.

“This county is filled with artistic talent,” said Matthew E. Pisarski, Coordinator of the Cultural & Heritage Commission. “We see it in our local galleries, in our live theaters and performance spaces. Now our artists will be able to connect with people in and outside of the county.”

The directory is easily accessible through a link on the Cultural and Heritage Commission website: www.ccculturalheritage.org.

It is open to any self-identified artist who resides in Cumberland County.

To be included, artists simply fill out an online template, which includes profile information, categories the artist would like to be listed under, and the opportunity to upload up to five digital images.
