SALARY RANGE: $21,701 - $27,783
HOURS/WEEK: 40 hours
JOB DESCRIPTION: Operates and assists in the operation of one or more laundry machines, including extractors, tumblers, pressers, irons and other equipment; classifies, sorts, inspects, folds, counts and checks laundry.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Some knowledge of the use and application of laundry equipment. Ability to organize assigned work and develop effective work methods, to work harmoniously with associates; to understand, remember and carry out oral and written directions; to learn quickly from observations, oral and written explanations, and from demonstrations, to count, sort and check accurately and rapidly; to use laundry equipment and to keep simple records. Good health and freedom from disabling physical and mental defects which would impair the proper performance of the required duties or which might endanger the health and safety of oneself or others.
