Duties:
Under direction of the Health Officer, plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs the Public Health Nursing Service in the community; does other related work.
Requirements: EXPERIENCE:
Director of Public Health Nursing Service: Five (5) years of supervisory experience in Public Health Nursing.
Public Health Nurse Supervisor: Four (4) years of experience in public health nursing.
EDUCATION:
Director of Public Health Nursing - Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Nursing or Public Health Nursing Science or, a Master's degree in Public Health from a college accredited by the American Public Health Association.
Public Health Nurse - Graduation from an accredited college or university with a
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Public Health Nursing Science.
LICENSE:
Appointees must possess a valid registration as a professional nurse in the
state of New Jersey.
Offers of employment for this title are contingent upon successful completion of physical fitness testing, to include drug screenings, and criminal background checks.
