Duties: Reports to the County Engineer; assists the County Engineer with difficult field and office

                                engineering work  involved  in  the  design,  maintenance, and construction of highways,

bridges, roads, and sewers  and  other types of engineering work; reviews planning board applications; does other related duties as required.

Requirements: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Possession of a Professional Engineer’s License issued by the NJ State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors may be substituted for the above education requirements. Two (2) years of supervisory engineering experience in the design, maintenance, and construction of projects including preparation and review of construction plans and specifications. Technology background, including working knowledge of computer-aided design software and Microsoft Office products. Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills. Possession of valid New Jersey driver’s license required.
