Description:        Position is unclassified and serves at Cumberland County’s pleasure. The Veterans’ Service Officer/Director of Veterans’ Interment assigns duties and responsibilities.                                  

Qualifications:   Demonstrated ability to perform administrative clerical and general office work in a public or private organization. Strong computer literacy with specific working knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs. Basic knowledge and understanding of information, benefits, and resources related to veterans’ affairs and veterans’ interment issues preferred. 

Hours:                   19 hours per week to be determined by the Veterans’ Services Officer/Director of Veterans’ Internment. Monday through Friday. 

Note:                    Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of physical fitness screening and criminal background checks.
