HOURS/WEEK: 35 hrs per week
JOB DESCRIPTION: Under direction interviews individuals and gathers necessary information for the purpose of admitting clients to treatment program. Maintains records and files. Provides case management. Contacts and maintains cooperative relationships with other social agencies the community. Does other related duties.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of at least 60 semester hours, or enrolled in a course of study in social work or social service related field. One (1) year of experience in a social service, health or community agency. Experience in interviewing and gathering social information from clients. Knowledge of individual and group behavior. Knowledge of case management, record keeping and documentation. Ability to prepare clear, sound, accurate reports. Ability to perform duties with varying details. Ability to work harmoniously with associates, individuals and social organizations. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
