JOB TITLE: Building Maintenance Worker

SALARY RANGE: $27,127 - $34,728
HOURS/WEEK: 40 hrs per week
JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs varied, simple and moderately physically strenuous tasks involving the cleaning and maintenance of buildings and grounds. Washes windows and floors, polishes floors, dusts, cleans lavatories, moves furniture and polishes metal fixtures, collects trash, mows lawns, trims hedges, shovels snow and spreads salt in winter. Assists carpenters, painters and plumbers; which includes carrying tools, cleaning up after job is completed, etc.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of the problems, procedures, methods and supplies used in cleaning and maintaining buildings and grounds. Able to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to perform the duties of this job. Able to carry out instructions. Must have valid New Jersey drivers license.
