COME JOIN THE CELEBRATION!

Cumberland County Library’s 5Oth Anniversary

& the Kick-off of The 2013 Summer Reading Program – “Dig into Reading”

Cumberland County Library will celebrate 50 years of service on Saturday, July 13, 2013 from 10am to 3pm at the County Complex on Rt. 49, Bridgeton.  During the celebration, the Summer Reading Program “Dig into Reading” will kick-off with a magician, crafts, story times and registration.  Programs will be held in the parking lot in front of the library. If the weather does not permit outdoor activities, the programs will be held in the library lower level meeting room.

Come enjoy these fun performances and activities:

10:00 am – Opening Ceremony/Master of Ceremonies, Freeholder Tony Surace

10:15am - Magician Bill Kerwood of  Magical Results

11am-1pm - Buckshutem Country featuring country, bluegrass, blues, gospel and oldies music

1:15-2pm - Off Broad Street Players Preview of Fiddler on the Roof and the Children’s Summer Camp performers

2-3pm – Activities for Kids:

Face Painting by Christina

Joe-Joe the Clown Balloon Sculptures

Meet the author: Children’s authors bring you storytimes featuring Anne Ianni Marrone’s anti-bullying series and JoDenise Muller & Danett Bolton with the Buddy stories.  

Children’s crafts with Miss Melody
