5/23/2013 - Display of Holocaust Survivor Books at the Library

When you visit the Cumberland County Library be sure to notice the display case on the main floor. There is an exhibit of books that were donated by the Sara and Sam Schoffer Resource Center of Stockton College.

These books were written by Holocaust survivors who live in the Cumberland County area.  Co-written by Dr. Maryann McLoughlin, Stockton College professor and Assistant Director of the Holocaust Resource Center, two sets of seven different titles are now part of our collection. One set will remain in the library in the New Jersey Room for use in the library. The other set will be available to county residents to borrow. These are true stories of courage and survival.
