Cumberland County Library Children’s Program

Monday, May 20th at 1:30pm Miss Melody will read I’m Not Scared by Kirsten Hall and Illustrated by Joan Holub. The story follows a couple of boys who brag about how they aren’t scared of anything. One night they put their bravery to the test with a campout in the backyard. Miss Melody will follow up by talking about being scared of the dark. Along with the story, children will be playing with everything glow in the dark! Kids will use glow in the dark paint to create a glowing masterpiece. There will be a glow in the dark rice sensory bin that the children will search through for coins to win prizes. The children will also get to see the glow in the dark jello they made the week before. A special gift will be given to each child before they leave. So come out and wear something that glows in the dark!
