9/10/2012 - Treasure Hunt at County Library September 18

Cumberland County Library Children’s Reading Program

Come out Tuesday, September 18th 2012 at 6:30pm for a Library Treasure Hunt!

The treasure hunt will follow this story.  Long ago, the Cumberland County Library was very close to the ocean. Pirates from all over would stop here to check out their books! There was a pirate named Pete who left behind his treasure. He left clues for himself to remember where he put it, but silly pirate Pete could not figure out his own clues! He gave us his clues so that someday we could find the treasure and enjoy it for him. Children will start the treasure hunt with a clue that will help them to find the next clue. Each clue will lead the children closer to finding the pirate Pete’s treasure. Before going on their treasure hunt, children will make their very own pirate hats! Children’s Reading Program ages K-6 grade will be held Tuesday nights at 6:30pm throughout the school year. Join the fun at the Cumberland County Library!

Cumberland County Library is located at 800 E. Commerce St. (Route 49), Bridgeton, NJ.  Call 856-453-2210 ext. 101 for further information.
