2/17/2011 - 4-H Model Train Club Seeking Members

Do you like trains? Do you have a model train?
Would you like to learn about model trains?

The Cumberland County Model Trains 4-H Club is seeking new members. The group is open to boys and girls in grades 3-8. Model TrainThe meetings will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. The first meeting will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011, 7:00 PM at the Klem 4-H Activity Building located at 291 Morton Avenue (Building B) in Rosenhayn.

In the Model Trains 4-H club youth will learn about trains; construct landscape scenery; build bridges and buildings; assemble and set-up tracks; and participate in exhibitions and events.

The 4-H Youth Development Program is part of Rutgers Cooperative Extension, a unit of the Rutgers New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station. 4-H offers educational programs to all youth, grades K-13 (one year out of high school), on an age-appropriate basis, without regard to race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
