Construction Set to Begin on Rosenhayn/Vineland Avenue -- Expect Delays

A major reconstruction project is set to get underway along a half-mile section of Rosenhayn and Vineland Avenue (CR 659) in Deerfield Township beginning tomorrow morning (Thursday, September 12th).

County officials say delays should be expected.

The construction zone runs from South Woodruff Road northeast to Bridgeton Avenue.

Westbound traffic will be detoured around the zone (Morton Ave. northbound to Landis. Landis westbound to South Woodruff Road. South Woodruff southbound to rejoin Rosenhayn Ave.)

Eastbound traffic will be allowed to pass, but delays are expected.

Emergency vehicles will have access at all times during the construction.

County officials are notifying residents in the zone about the project via a reverse 911 message.

Construction hours are anticipated between 6AM and 5PM, Monday through Friday.
The project is expected to last well into the fall.

Updates on the project and related detours can be found on the Cumberland County website cumberlandcountynj.gov.
