On July 17, 2013, from 3 pm to 6 pm the Cumberland County Engineering Department will be holding a Public Information Session for the upcoming F.Y.2013 Federal Road Program.  The meeting will be held in the Engineering Conference Room in the Cumberland County Library Building, 800 E. Commerce Street, Bridgeton, NJ.  Preliminary plans and department staff will be available to discuss the following roads located within the City of Bridgeton & Townships of Fairfield and Upper Deerfield:

• C.R.553/609/609 Spur (Fairton-Bridgeton Road / Grove Street) from C.R.698 (Fairton-Millville Road) to N.J.S.H.49 (Broad Street).
• C.R.611 (Burlington Road) from C.R.659 (Rosenhayn Avenue) to N.J.S.H.56 (Landis Avenue).
• C.R.689 (Woodruff Road) from N.J.S.H.56 (Landis Avenue) to C.R.553 (Centerton Road)

The project consists of milling and repaving of the roadways with associated drainage improvements and guiderail upgrades.  The program is anticipated to be bid for construction in spring of 2014.
