PUBLIC NOTICE:  Public Hearings - Proposed Sale of the Manor

TAKE NOTICE that in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:12-13.5, the County of Cumberland will hold two public hearings to seek comments on the proposed sale of surplus real property and improvements in the Township of Hopewell, Cumberland County.

The property and improvements proposed for sale are located at 154 Sunny Slope Drive, Bridgeton, New Jersey 08302, and are a portion of the property identified in the municipal tax map of the Township of Hopewell as Block 75, Lot 7 and commonly known as the Cumberland Manor Nursing Home. The property and improvements are currently utilized as a nursing home by the County and are proposed to be continued after sale to be used as a nursing home.

Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:12-13.5, hearings to obtain public comment on this proposal will be held at:

County of Cumberland, Cumberland County Court House, Broad and Fayette Streets (3rd floor meeting room), Bridgeton, New Jersey on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m.
A second public hearing will be held at the Hopewell Township Municipal Building, 590 Shiloh Pike, Hopewell Township, New Jersey on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 6:30 p.m.

Public comment on this proposed sale will be accepted during the public hearings or in writing to Mr. Kenneth Mecouch, County of Cumberland, County Administration Building, 790 East Commerce Street, Bridgeton, New Jersey until November 10, 2011. On or after November 11, 2011, the County of Cumberland may take formal action to approve the proposed sale.
