4-H IS GOING TO THE DOGS!

Dog clubs that is! This fall 4-H dog clubs in Cumberland County are actively looking for dog lovers to join the ranks of 4-H dog club members. Cumberland County 4-H dog clubs are very active. Members practice dog obedience and dog agility, participate in nursing home visits, help with animal rescue projects and learn about dog care and maintenance. 4-H members participate in a variety of Countywide events and programs through the year. 4-H dog clubs are open to any dog lover or owner in grades K-13 (one year out of high school) who is ready to have a great time. Current dog clubs include the Tailwaggers 4-H Club with 4-H leaders Pam Demmy of Vineland and Jennifer Lloyd of Bridgeton, Bow Wows 4-H Club led by Linda Lemmo of Upper Deerfield Township, Paw Shakers 4-H Club headed by Nina Paulitis of Cedarville and Puppy Power 4-H Seeing Eye Dog Club with leader Joan Maloney of Upper Deerfield Township. All clubs are currently welcoming new members and you don’t need to have a dog to join. Call the 4-H Office at (856) 451-2800, ext. #3 and join today.
