The National Weather Service In Mount Holly NJ Has Extended The Flood Warning For Urban Areas And Small Streams In Northwestern Cumberland County Until 530 AM EDT Monday, August 15, 2011.

At 7:10 PM EDT...No Rain Was Falling. However, Runoff From The Recent Heavy Rain Was Continuing To Cause Flooding Along Streams And Creeks And In Low Lying Areas. Rainfall Totals Of 3 To 7 Inches Were Common In The Region With Locally Higher Amounts. The Flooding Is Expected To Linger Through Tonight.

A Flood Warning Means That Flooding Is Imminent Or Has Been Reported. If You Live In A Location That Is Prone To Flooding...Be Prepared To Move To Higher Ground.

Do Not Drive Your Vehicle Through Flood Waters. The Water May Be Deeper Than You Think It Is. You Will Be Putting Yourself In Danger And You May Damage Your Vehicle...Leading To Costly Repairs.
