Clara Lee Eachus (Left),6, from Upper Deerfield Township and her sister, Abby, 10, meet the new 5 foot high plush giraffe at the Cumberland County Library. Both girls are home schooled and visiting the library to borrow books. Clara was immediately attracted to the friendly looking huggable giraffe. Looking like she came off the African savanna, the giraffe fits right into the theme for the summer reading program, "One World, Many Stories". The kick off for the programs will be this Saturday, July 9 with a program on China from 11 to 12 a.m. The giraffe was a gift to the county library from the Acting Director, Jean Edwards.
