On Saturday April 2, 2011 the Historic Greenwich Education Foundation will sponsor another popular evening at the Morris Goodwin School entitled “Ye Greate Street, Live”. It will offer family appeal in presenting a “Live” Auction, a silent auction and a Chinese auction. The musical entertainment will feature South Jersey musicians and offer comedic diversion in revisiting “Elliot Mess and the Untouchables!”. Entrance donation is $10.00 per family. Any questions concerning this fundraising event should be directed to Helen Reinhart at (856) 455-5122.
Auction items feature local artisans and their handcrafts, original artwork, prints and photographs, nautical adventures, scenic and weekend excursions, Bay-Atlantic Symphony concerts, lunch with Congressman LoBiondo in Washington, a gourmet dinner with paired flights of wine, antiques, vintage collectibles and novelties, assorted paraphernalia from a Greenwich canhouse, old bottles recovered from the shores of Cabin Creek, books by author Robin Hathaway featuring Greenwich, and the list goes on.
Many auction items may be viewed in advance until April 2, 2011 in the window of BYC – Books, Yarn, Coffee at 21 E. Commerce Street, Bridgeton, and in the window of the Greenwich Post Office/Country Store in Greenwich. Auction item donations are always appreciated.
