Children’s Programs at the Cumberland County Library

April 5: Work That Body:
    At 6:30 p.m, ages 6-9 will challenge their bodies as they exercise to the Fit Kids’ Workouts DVD. At 7:30 p.m. they will really rev their engines as they Zumba to Latin rhythms.

April 12: Big Picture Day Part One:
    Supplies will be on hand to create a masterpiece worthy of hanging on your wall. Design a large stained glass type piece of artwork. Miss Courtenay will assist Ages 6-9 at 6:30 p.m. and older participants will come at 7:30 p.m. Pre-registration is necessary for this two part program.

Saturday, April 16: Earth Day Craft
    On this day will be making a bag from magazines. Choose pictures to personalize lunch bags or other container to express your personality. Ages 9-14 are invited to come at 10 a.m. All materials will be provided. Please pre-register.

April 19: Big Picture Day Part Two:
    Now that your design has been chosen, participants will be ready to choose colors and materials to make that design pop. Large scale frames will be provided so that everyone’s masterpiece will look professional. Pre-registration is necessary for this two part program.

APRIL 28: Dog Handling
    4-H will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on dog handling to people of all ages.
