10/6/2010 - Improvement Authority Offers Free Shredding

The Cumberland County Improvement Authority will host four one-day Shred Events in partnership with host sites for area residents.

"To ensure that many residents can take advantage of this event, residents are limited to four boxes per household," said Recycling Coordinator Dennis DeMatte. The Cumberland County Improvement Authority will host Shred EventsThis event is free to Cumberland County residents. Businesses will not be able to participate. Identification will be required at all events.

This is a one-time only New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection grant-funded project. Bring in your confidential documents, bank statements, tax forms, etc. The four-box limit is copy paper-sized boxes. All types of paper with standard size staples or paper clips are permitted. Please no large binders or junk mail. Residents will be able to witness the shredding of their material.

All events will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the following locations and dates:

Wednesday, November 3
