How to File an OPRA Request with Cumberland County
There is a two-step process that you will need to complete in order to submit an OPRA request electronically to Ken Mecouch, Cumberland County Interim Custodian of Records. Your ability to complete these steps as needed will speed the fulfillment of your request.
If you would like to submit a request via snail mail, fax or walk-in, please print and complete the form. If you would like to file electronically (recommended), please follow the steps below:
1) Please complete this writeable OPRA request form and save the completed document to your computer.
2) Fill out your our Citizen Service Request form on this specific OPRA request page and attach your saved and completed PDF file to your service request.
The Custodian of Records office is located located at the Cumberland County Administration Building, 790 East Commerce Street, Bridgeton, NJ 08302. His office can be reached by phone at (856) 453-2125 or fax at (856) 451-8243. The Custodian is generally required (subject to certain restrictions) to fill a records request within seven business days after receiving the request.
