Elected Freeholder November 2010. Lifelong resident of Cumberland County. 1961 Class President and Graduate of Bridgeton High School. Associated with Woodruff Oil Company for 40 years. Former President and Partner of Lerco Fuel Company in Vineland. Past Mayor of Upper Deerfield Township. Former Member of the Upper Deerfield Township Planning and Zoning Boards. Past President of the Bridgeton Area Chamber of Commerce and Past Vice President of the Vineland Chamber of Commerce. Past President of the Bridgeton Jaycees, Vineland Rotary Club, Cumberland County Fuel Dealers Association, and the Cumberland County College Foundation. Served on the NJ Fuel Dealers Association, the Better Home Heat Council of the Delaware Valley, Bridgeton United Way and the South Jersey Boy Scouts. Currently serves as a Director with Century Savings Bank and is an Elder of the First Presbyterian Church in Bridgeton. He was awarded an Honorary Associate in Arts Degree from Cumberland County College. Carl was honored by the Bridgeton Board of Education and placed on the Wall of Fame at Bridgeton Senior High School in 2009. He was named Vineland’s Outstanding Business Man of the Year in 2007 and awarded Rotary’s New Jersey Vocational Service Award in 2005. Wife: Connie. Children: Deneen and Michele.
