The Cumberland County 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Center is the centralized answering point for all 9-1-1 calls in Cumberland County, with the exception of Vineland City. The Communications Center also dispatches for 28 Fire Departments, 10 Basic Life Support (BLS) Rescue Squads, 8 BLS First Responders and three Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic Units. Cumberland County is also the after hours contact for many municipal, county and state agencies that operate within the county.
