Location

As with other bay areas, Lawrence Township offers a thriving habitat of salt and freshwater wetlands, agricultural land, forests, lakes, and ponds. The Nantuxent and New Sweden Fish and Wildlife Management areas provide excellent opportunities for bird watching, crabbing, fishing, and hunting. Cedar Lake also offers a public boat ramp, fishing areas and walking trails. The township's vision for controlled growth helps to ensure that a peaceful life-style is maintained.

Education
Education is a priority with the residents of Lawrence Township, reflected both in the innovative programs that have been successfully implemented and in the quality of the students the system produces. Students in Lawrence Township go on to finish their high school education at Millville High School or Bridgeton High School, depending on their location, under a regional partnership agreement. Students in Lawrence Township are within an easy commute to Cumberland County College and can receive an excellent post secondary education in a number of fields. In addition, there are a number of renowned colleges and universities within a one-hour drive of Lawrence Township. Quality occupational training is also available at the Cumberland County Technical Education Center.
