Commissioner Carol Musso
Commissioner Musso was elected in November of 2011 and is the Board’s longest currently serving commissioner. She previously served on the Deerfield Township Committee for 16 years including service as Mayor and Deputy Mayor. Musso serves as the Vice President of the South Jersey Freeholders Association and previously represented Cumberland County as a member of the League of Municipalities.
For decades, Musso has been engaged in varied and extensive civic, charitable and business activities throughout Cumberland County. She has tirelessly supported the County’s business community as Board Member and Chair of the Bridgeton Area Chamber of Commerce as well as active membership in Vineland and Millville Chambers of Commerce. Musso serves as Treasurer and Member of the Cumberland County Technical Educational Center Foundation Board, President and member of the Board for the Salem County Habitat for Humanity, a member of the South Jersey Healthcare Auxiliary Board and a member of the M25 (Code Blue) Homeless Initiative Board. Musso is former President of the International Management Council, former Board Member and Chairwoman of the Cumberland Development Corporation and former Board Member and 1st Vice Chair of Gateway Community Action Partnership. Musso has earned a well deserved reputation for hard work and dedication to the organizations and causes she supports.
Musso has worked in the banking industry for over 35 years and is currently the Vice President of Business Development at Century Savings Bank, a Cumberland County based community bank. She attended Cumberland County College and continued her banking related education at the American Institute of Bankers. She is a long time resident of Deerfield Township and the proud mother of twin daughters.
